Who We Are

Celestype is operated by Aurum Ocean Intelligence Ltd (金海匯智能), a company registered in Hong Kong. This policy explains how we process personal data when you use celestype.com.

Data We Collect

• Assessment data: questionnaire answers, response timing, calculated personality type, five-dimension scores, and generated reports.
• Account data: your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, the basic profile information Google shares with us.
• Transaction data: order identifier, amount, currency, and payment status. We do not receive or store complete payment-card details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, session identifiers, security logs, and essential cookies.

How and Why We Use Data

• To score your assessment, display and save results, and generate the report you request — to perform our contract with you and, where applicable, based on your consent.
• To create and secure your account, provide sign-in, and send essential service messages — to perform our contract and protect our legitimate security interests.
• To process purchases, prevent fraud, meet accounting obligations, and handle support or refund requests — to perform our contract and comply with law.

Service Providers and International Processing

We use DigitalOcean for hosting, ZeptoMail (Zoho) for transactional email, Google for optional sign-in, and a merchant-of-record payment provider shown at checkout. These providers receive only the data needed for their role.

DeepSeek supplies the AI model used to write personality reports. It receives a de-identified summary of the calculated personality type, five dimensions, and answer-quality indicators. It does not receive your name, email, account identifier, payment data, or raw questionnaire answers. This limited data may be processed in mainland China.

We do not sell personal data. For international transfers, we use contractual and organizational safeguards required by applicable law.

Retention and Security

We retain account, assessment, and report data while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Transaction records may be kept longer where tax, accounting, dispute, or fraud-prevention rules require it. We use access controls, encryption in transit, backups, and logging designed to protect data.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
